7 Day 6 Night Off Road

Introducing our Northern Thailand Motorcycle off road tour. This is an awesome 7 day 6 night tour on and off road. This tour takes in a variety of things to do and spectacular sites to see as do all our tours. This tour will take us off road on some single tracks through the jungle in and around the Golden Triangle. Places and sites to see are many on this adventure. We will visit Temples, local villages, mountain roads, museums, parks, water falls, caves, monkeys and so much more.

All our tours are fully inclusive. All tour prices are final with no hidden costs. So that means no surprises.  All prices are listed in our price chart below.

 

Whats included:

We do recommend you carry travel insurance from home country. Stated below is what we offer.

Insurance: Accident Third Party covering up a maximum of 10,000,000 baht per accident.

Third Party property damage covering up to a maximum of 1,000,000 baht per accident.

Personal injury insurance for driver and passenger up to a maximum of 100,000 baht each per accident.

Medical expense insurance for driver and passenger up to a maximum of 50,000 baht each.

Life insurance: 1,000,000 baht.

Rental bike damage is covered in house: (We take on the risk if you have an accident)

Costumers are responsible for the first 12,500 baht on our 250cc bikes and 50% of the book value for bike if damaged beyond repair.

Bike theft, costumers are responsible for 50% of the book value of the bike and accessories if stolen.

No one else offers this much insurance that we are aware of. You the costumers are very important to us.

Our all-inclusive tours cover all expenses in their entirety and we have the time to select our accommodation carefully for our guests comfort

Transfer from international airport.

One free Thai massage on the day of your arrival.

Accommodation the night before the ride.

All accommodation during the tour is based on single occupancy.

Meals during the tour. Breakfast and Lunch.

Biking gear is available. We recommend you bring your own off road gear. If you have to purchase something here, we offer a 50% buy back.

English speaking Thai tour guide registered with (TAT), Thailand Association of Tourism.

Support truck with driver to carry luggage and pillion if you choose this package. 

Bikes are equipped with luggage carrying capacity to make it more economical.

We always carry ample parts for minor repairs if the need should arise.

All entrance fees to national parks etc.

 

Whats not included:

Flights in and around Thailand, accommodation on your last night, alcohol, adult entertainment, gifts, souvenirs, tips, gratuities.

Insurance is null and void if you are found to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or found to be breaking the law.

 

Itinerary Details: Early morning meet and greet at your accommodation in Chiang Rai. We will provide you with the tour briefing. During the briefing we will address any personal concerns and requirements. After the briefing we will have you shuttled to our shop for riding gear fitting and documentation signing.

Day 1. Chiang Rai to Wiang Kaen. Km 220. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

After breakfast we leave Chiang Rai making our way east. Once we are about 30 km out we start taking the secondary and back roads making our way on some single tracks throughout the day. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. From Thoeng we head off road into the mountains on some single tracks. We then take the mountain twisty roads to Phu Chi Fah for a visit. From Phu Chi Fah we are off road again to Pang Hat where we take secondary road to Wiang Kaen and relax at our charming accommodation.

 

Day 2 Wiang Kaen to Chiang Saen. Km 190. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

After breakfast we head to Chiang Khong where we meet up with the mighty Mekong and keep it at our shoulder throughout the day. Staying right on highway 4007 we make our way along the river on and off road to Chiang Saen and the Golden triangle. We stop for a Visit in Chiang Saen. Here we will take on some history and a visit to a temple. A must see would be the Pagoda Wat Prathat Pra Ngao this Temple sits high atop the mountain prior to entering Chiang Saen. Have a chat to the local Monk who speaks English. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. We leave Chiang Saen for a visit to the Golden Triangle, opium museum and maybe a boat trip on the Mekong river if time is available. Here we spend the night with a short trip back to Chiang Saen at which point we will relax and enjoy quit evening in the border town.

 

 

Day 3. Chiang Saen to Mong Khao Laung. Hilltribe village. km 250.  All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

After breakfast we head off too Mae Sai leaving the Mekong behind. Before heading up the mountain we will visit Wat Tham Pla where you can feed some wild monkeys. We then make our way back towards Mae Sai and up the mountain along the border between Thailand and Myanmar through police check points. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. On this leg of the trip we will immerse you into some Thai and local hill tribe culture with the Akha hill tribe. Here you start to see a lot more of the real Thailand. We make our way off and on road to a Akha hill tribe village where we spend the night. Here you help and learn some of their cooking methods and culture. After dinner we just relax and enjoy the people.

 

 

Day 4. Mong Khao Laung, Akha hilltribe village to Tha Ton. Km 230. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

Again traveling these mountain roads is beautiful. In route we will visit the Botanical Gardens, Doi Tung Royal Villa and of course stop in Doi Mae Salong for a taste of the teas from the Chinese tea farmers. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. We then make our way to Tha Ton on and off road. When we reach Tha Ton we relax at out charming accommodation.

 

Day 5. Tha Ton to Ban Laung. Km 220. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

After breakfast before leaving Tha Ton we will visit Wat Tha Ton a top the mountain to enjoy the mourning view. Now we make our way on some amazing off road tracks and mountain roads to Ban Laung. On this leg of the tour you can spend all day just exploring the off road tracks. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. After spending the day in the mountains around the border of Myanmar we make our way to Ban Laung for a relaxing night at your charming accommodations again in a border town.

 

 

Day 6. Ban Laung to Karen hill tribe village near Doi Ngam. Km 230. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

 

After breakfast we are back on the twisty mountain roads and single tracks heading east now. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. On this leg of our tour we continue off and on road to the village where we immerse you again into the culture of the Keran people. Here again you learn and help prepare your meal with the Karen. Once you have eaten dinner it is time to relax and just enjoy the people. 

 

 

Day 7. Karen hill tribe village/Doi Ngam to Chiang Km 210. All kilometers are dependent on the costumers interests. 

 

After breakfast we start our way back to Chiang Rai again on and off road on some single tracks and mountain roads. Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way. Today we will take it a little easy and get you back to Chiang Rai as some may need to catch flights or just to relax at your accommodations for some ever lasting memories and hopefully some new friends.
